In June, the Board of Trustees approved 39 grants equaling a total of $521,000. Over the last 30 years, EFD has granted more than $6 million within the Episcopal Diocese of Dallas.

 

The Foundation prioritizes grants to support its mission of partnering wise investments and purposeful giving and also supports organizations and programs that are focused on mission-related projects, social outreach and other creative programs that strengthen our community and improve lives, and which support basic human needs in these areas: homelessness, food insecurity, health insecurity, and poverty. 

 

In our effort to expand our reach and support within the Diocese of Dallas, grants included recipients in 10 of the 25 counties that make up the Diocese. Grant amounts ranged from $5,000 to $25,000.
